One of my students wrote to me recently to say:

HI! Wow, I just can't thank you enough. I know I'm making a big deal about this, but I am so much more   confident than before that session. I just thought that when I was reading the textbook by myself the reason why I didn't get the concept was because I was just not a history person. Thats why I wasn't too interested in the topic. To tell you the truth, the first thing that came up to my mind when I walked into the room today for tutor was "ugh man, i'm probably not going to get it anyways". But i left that room today thinking, "Wow that was interesting!" Thank you very much. I think by using the methods you taught me today, I can use time more efficiently on both hw and studying for this subject. Well, thanks again!

And one of my students' mothers wrote:

Thanks very much.  My son enjoyed the game that you played with him and found that it was a fun way to review the information.  When you left he said "history is fun" -- which is a credit to you for making it that way!
